Getting to the Planetarium
The planetarium is located in the new Catherine & Isiah Leggett Math and Science Building (LB) on the Takoma Park campus. The street address is 7615 Fenton St., Takoma Park, MD 20912.
There is a small parking lot adjacent to the Leggett Building (LB) that may be accessed via Takoma Avenue. There is a large parking garage off Fenton Street (the East Gararge or EG), north of the Leggett Building. From Fenton Street, turn onto King Street to enter the garage.
To access the planetarium, use the front entrance of the Leggett Building. The planetarium is in room LB103. We will have signs directing you to the space.
Getting to the Observatory
The observatory is located on the roof of the Science Center (SC) on the Rockville campus of Montgomery College. The street address is 51 Mannakee St., Rockville, MD 20850. There is ample and free parking around the Science Center. Parking lot #11 is closest.Use the main entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the 4th floor. You should be in Stairwell 1 or Elevator 1. The Observatory Guest Nights begin in room SC406. If you are late and the group has already gone up to the roof, one of our students will assist you in getting upstairs.
